AudioActive at Woodlands Meed

Students at Woodlands Meed College have recently had two creative music technology sessions as part of an "Artsmark Wider Reach" project. Music technologist Jack Kingslake, from Brighton-based Audio Active, worked with two classes and encouraged them to create rhythms, tunes and lyrics. These were sampled and mixed to produce a track called "In the Jungle". The music technology used enabled students to get immediate feedback on what they had contributed, and to experience music recording and production, and all students were able to participate and enjoy the sessions. Over the next two weeks students at the School site will also have two sessions with Jack.
