Wildlife Garden

5AS have created a wildlife garden, kindly funded by the Friends of Woodlands Meed, to compensate for the habitats lost because of the recently built housing estate. The students researched plants and features that would attract a range of wildlife and used this increased understanding to plan and build the wildlife friendly area. They cleared the area of litter and anything which could harm the wildlife, then created a bug hotel, planted plants which will attract bees and butterflies, made a small pond and put up a bee house.
