West Sussex Fostering Team visit Woodlands Meed

The Fostering and Kinship Service visited Woodlands Meed School this week. Deputy Head, Chris Carter, gave the team a warm welcome and gave a presentation about supporting children with disabilities and helping highlight the real need for more shortbreaks Foster Carers across West Sussex.

The Fostering service is hoping to encourage more people to step forward and consider fostering children with disabilities. If you're interested in making a difference, please find out more here: https://bit.ly/3RnRts1

There is a video here of foster carers speaking about the benefits that short-breaks foster care provides for them and the children they care for. https://fosteringwestsussex.org.uk/fostering-stories/judith-kim-and-davids-fostering-story/
