We understand the importance of developing and supporting new teachers, so we launched the Meeds SEND Alliance ECT Network in September 2023. This gives ECTs (years 1 and 2) the opportunity to network, learn, support each other and gain knowledge and skills in SEND. 

ECTs in our network meet three times a year to discuss best practice. We also offer outreach visits, where we visit the ECT in their school to support them with their teaching.
