Employer Engagement

We need your help

We are looking for local employers, employees, workplaces and other organisations to help inspire our students and provide them with meaningful work related encounters.

Employer engagement can be carried out in different ways:

Attend a business brunch – share your career story at our business brunch and network with other businesses

Speak – share your career story to a Work Skills group or at an assembly

Share – run a group session about your industry/sector

Workshop – carry out a mock interview or support with CV development

Exhibit - at the Woodlands Meed Careers and Transitions Fair

Activities – facilitate work related activities for our students to participate in

Workplace visits – give students the chance to see a working environment

Work experience – talk to us about the Woodlands Meed work experience programme

Enterprise – help us to develop our college enterprises by providing the students guidance and advice about their enterprise products and services

This is an exciting opportunity for all stakeholders, staff, students, families, local organisations and members of the community to get involved in the Woodland Meed Careers programme.

Your input could be incredibly valuable in giving young people a chance to gain a detailed insight in to the world of work and your organisation could gain an increased profile within the community, and a possible route to sourcing the next generation of employees.
