Woodlands Meed students celebrate excellent qualification results in 2018

100% of the generic Year 11 students achieved at least one qualification

31% of the Year 11 students gained at least 1 GCSE

76% of the generic Key Stage 5 students left Woodlands Meed with a Functional Skills Maths qualification

84% of the generic Key Stage 5 students left Woodlands Meed with a Functional Skills English qualification

85% of the generic Key Stage 5 students left with a BTEC Workskills Award

99 Entry Level qualifications were gained 

8 students gained ICT GCSE

4 students gained GCSE English language

2 students gained GCSE Statistics

3 students gained GCSE Maths

3 students gained GCSE Art

There were some excellent individual successes including: 

  • Daniel Cripps who gained 5 GCSE’s, including a B in GCSE ICT and Statistics
  • Jake Herlihy who gained 4 GCSE’s
  • Job Macinnes who gained 2 GCSEs
  • Georgia Godfrey who gained Level 1 in both Functional Skills Maths and English, as well a Level 1 BTEC Workskills Award.
