Department for Education - KS2 and KS4 results

All pupils who left Woodlands Meed in the summer of 2016, either at 16 years old or from KS5 as a 19 year old had a placement or College to move on to. Pupils and their families are involved in planning this transition from an early stage.

Our students have opportunities to be entered for a wide range of qualifications from Entry Pathways, Functional Skills, Entry Level Certificates and GCSEs in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, ICT and Computing, Film Studies, Photography, Statistics, and Art and Design. We also work with students to achieve Arts Awards. We are very proud of last year's Year 11 students, as 18 of the 19 achieved an accredited outcome in 2016.

In addition to public examinations our students have other opportunities to achieve. Out of our 19 Year 10 students last summer (2016) 18 had achieved a Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award and 10 achieved a Junior Sports Leaders' Award at Woodlands Meed.
