Wellbeing

The Woodlands Meed Wellbeing Team works closely with pupils, families and staff teams to support healthy emotional development of our pupils and help them reach their potential.

Emotional Wellbeing in and out of class

Our Wellbeing Leads advise and support class teams regarding the emotional needs of our pupils, which include their social, behavioural and personal development as well as their positive mental health.

Cornerstones:

Our wellbeing work broadly relates to 4 cornerstones: Emotional wellbeing, Physical health, relationships, and digital media and literacy. These are also cornerstones of our PSHE curriculum. Support for pupils and families will vary depending on the needs of pupils, and their developmental levels, and tends to be focused and responsive. Our wellbeing leads also work with pupils and families regarding safeguarding and welfare, offering support and advice.
