Class Teachers:

TMS / UPS plus SEN1 allowance.

Woodlands Meed are seeking permanent teachers, to start April or September 2020.

Woodlands Meed is a foundation special school with a wide range of learning difficulties and complex special needs, including Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. We are also a Specialist School for Communication and Interaction.

We are a dynamic, positive and enthusiastic organisation with a commitment to supporting the professional development of teachers. We will arrange your transition into Woodlands Meed and provide you with the training and support to meet your individual needs. We are committed to supporting CPD and have recently invested in the IRIS programme, a recording and review tool to support staff development and best practice in education.

All teachers at Woodlands Meed need to be flexible and have the knowledge to deliver all curriculum subjects. We are looking for teachers who are looking to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that provide an individualised approach to learning. The ability to lead a team of support staff and to personalise learning, are key skills.
