Outreach
Outreach support is included in the membership. We provide in-school support and guidance for specific individuals or groups of pupils with SEND. Members are entitled to two visits per term This service is also available to non-members at an additional fee.
We offer the following outreach visits:
- School support visit
- ECT support visit
- Sensory observation and assessment with the sensory team
- Advisory visit with the behaviour and wellbeing team
The process for the outreach support and advice offered is as follows:
- A referral form found here to be completed by the school
- A two-hour visit which includes pupil observation, discussion and guidance
- A written report and option for follow up discussion
Other support options:
- Schools can arrange to visit Woodlands Meed into an appropriate class
- Access to resources and visual teaching aids
- Regular email contact and follow up visits if appropriate
- Ongoing support regarding all matters related to SEND
