Taking Flight! Owls Soar at St Pauls’ Inclusive Sports’ Festival

On Tuesday 7th July, Owls class took part in the annual Inclusive Sports’ Festival hosted by St Paul's in Burgess Hill.
Throughout the morning, the students enjoyed a carousel of different activities, giving them the opportunity to try a range of sports and challenges, some of which were completely new to them! Activities included dribbling a hockey ball, relay races, running with a rugby ball, and a variety of other fun, inclusive games.
Each activity was led by fantastic sports’ leaders from St. Wilfrid's in Burgess Hill and Harlands in Haywards Heath, who did an excellent job of explaining the activities, encouraging participation, and supporting our students throughout the event.
It was a brilliant morning filled with fun, teamwork and enthusiasm, providing another wonderful opportunity for one of our classes to represent Woodlands Meed at an external sporting event. The students were a credit to the school, demonstrating excellent behaviour, determination and positivity throughout.
We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part. Well done, Owls!
